Ho Ho Ho Blog Hop

First of all many thanks to Madame Samm and Carol for all their time and effort in organizing this blog hop.
Today is my day, so lets get right to it. I found this little hanger(on sale, of course) about a year ago and have wanted to make something to go with it ever since. The hanger is so fancy I felt that the wall hanging should be equally ornate, so I borrowed this block from my 2012 BOM(still available in the tabs) and reduced the block to eight inches finished. Then I designed from there. Here is the finished product.
I added the fancy tassel because it reminded me a bit of an old fashioned bell pull.
I love to design and make Christmas items so I thought I would share some of my designs from the past.
The pattern for the tree skirt above is available in the Free Patterns tab.

The tree skirt below is the only pattern I have ever published for sale.

The next three tree skirts are basically the same pattern with minor changes, mostly in size.

I designed this tree skirt for my sister who loves Mary Engelbreit and likes things a little funky.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog. Be sure to check out the rest of the featured blogs today. Here's the list.

Your projects are all amazing. How sweet of you to make a tree skirt for your sister to her taste of Mary E - I love most of her things, too and probably would still go more traditional for Christmas although I have some of her Christmas fabrics. I love the tassel - it is the perfect touch as the hanger. You are an amazing designer. We each have our own tastes and my taste really draws me to the tree - tree skirt. Thank you for participating and sharing a great variety of projects which should speak to a variety of tastes in fabrics and projects. I looked at your array of free patterns. You are very generous to share them with us.
