Welcome to my turn on the Holiday Lane Blog Hop. First of all let me thank Pauline and Madame Samm for putting this all together and to Jill of Jillily Studios for sharing her wonderful pattern with us.
When I first saw the pattern, I knew I wanted it to go in my little Victorian Parlor. I have a lovely sofa that was my Mom's, but if you're
looking for comfort this is not the sofa for you. So I decided the pillow would look lovely and maybe add some softness. I then went to my stash of very formal(mostly Hoffman)Christmas fabric. I changed things a little by adding more windows and doors. I also treated the border that Jill made into to a flanged edge as part of the pillow body. See what you think.
I had so much fun making this pillow that I decided to make two more smaller ones. Here's a picture of one.
Finally here's all of them on my sofa.
For more holiday fun, check out the rest of today's participants.

I hope you have a wonderful day and for those of you in the U. S. a very happy Thanksgiving. I hope you are gathering with friends or family to celebrate the day.

This should have been a winner! I love it! And I may have to copy you on those side pillows because I accidentally made two 9 inch houses instead of a 9 and a 10! It's sitting on my sewing table just waiting for me to decide what to do with it!

They're beautiful and certainly the 3 are perfect for your sofa. I'm inclined to prefer the regular size versus the longer cushion - good on you for doing it.

Kate said...

Kate again .... I love the starry background and those fabrics are posh. I was so caught up in seeing one made in the regular size that I neglected to comment on your fabric choice in my previous post. lol
