Two More Blocks

I have finished two more blocks so now I'm up to nine.

Which block is your favorite? My husband likes the purple best, but I love the green and blue one. I hate to admit almost seems unnatural for a quilter...but I'm not a huge fan of purple. Yes I use it when needed, but it will never be a first choice!
If your go back and count your will see that I actually have eleven completed but I'm using one for the center and one for a label on the back. I think I will make a cart cover for my little grandson's first birthday next and finish up the BOM blocks after Saturday's meeting.

The blocks are very pretty but I'm more a "purple person", so I like it best.
Your next two gifts have been mailed and should arrive to you by Thursday.

My favorite block is the blue and green - but then those are my favorite colors. Don't get me wrong, the purple block is very pretty too :)

I like the blue and green best, but that purple block is pretty darn fantastic! I have really enjoyed seeing your progress with these blocks. I love brights and black together, so you quilt blocks always make me smile.

I thought the pink one (last post) was my favourite until I saw the gorgeous turqoise and lime one. It's beautiful!
I'm not a huge fan of purple but I do like your purple block.

Love the blue and green block. I am working on a quilt for myself with blues and greens in it as well.

I am just starting a sewing/quilting blog, and am organizing a christmas fabric swap, and was wondering if you would be interested in joining in on the fun, if so, you can read about it here at, Paula's Crafty Boutique.
Happy quilting

Hi -- I'm wandering around quilting blogs on this pretty Saturday, and I found yours. I love the boldness and color choices on both these blocks. Love the contrast with black.

I was led to your blog via Google, specifically to your post Jan 17, 2010? We have a brand new grandson, and I sent DIL and son photos of 50 or 60 choices for a quilt for little Andrew. They chose the Honeyberries pattern by Evelyn Sloppy. But they want it to go with the nursery bedding which has red, blue, red, green, and yellow. I have a problem. All the Honeyberries versions I've seen are made with only 2 colors. Until I found your photo. You have gorgeous red and yellow blocks made, but I see other fabric colors in the photo.

Did you ever finish that Ph.D? Did you make or are you planning to make blocks other colors than just yellow and red? I'm hoping to find a photo made with more colors.

BTW -- imagine my surprise that when I found your blog, one of the blogs you watch is mine! Small world.
